This position requires a MINIMUM of five years of experience in the areas of carpentry, concrete, excavation, plumbing or electrical contracting. The Construction Foreman will assist the Superintendent with both performing and directing others in framing, installation of joists, rafters, floors etc; minor plumbing and electrical repairs and overall residential and commercial facility maintenance tasks. Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in extreme temperatures. Applicant must be able to confidently climb ladders and scaffolding with proper safety equipment. The foreman must be able to confidently manage construction laborers and work independently. He/she will assist superintendent in scheduling work and material procurement. This position requires a mature individual who exhibits good judgment and respects staff and management. We are as interested in your character as we are in your experience. This is a full-time, hourly wage position. SH employees may qualify for PREVAILING WAGE compensation when the company is performing work on PW eligible projects. Currently, PW projects consist of approximately 40% of our project load. We require criminal background checks and drug screening. Applicant must be able to meet these requirements.
