Clinical Therapist Overview: Plan and implement therapeutic and counseling services for students. Conduct assessments for cognitive, behavioral, social, and emotional needs. Develop and implement therapy plans and activities to achieve IEP goals. Report to a Clinical Administrator. This is an onsite opportunity Mon-Fri 9am-5pm

Responsibilities: Provide individual and group therapy sessions for assigned students. Conduct assessments and develop therapeutic goals and objectives. Create therapy plans addressing cognitive, social, and problem-solving skills. Collect and record behavioral and progress data from sessions. Consult with supervisors and peers for student treatment plans. Serve as an advocate for students and supports transition plans. Review admissions packets and participate in pre-placement interviews. Implement crisis intervention strategies and serve as an on-call therapist.

Communication and Documentation: Maintain open communication with parents, guardians, and human services agencies. Participate in meetings and committees, including IEP meetings and staff meetings. Provide program-related training to Grafton staff. Prepare progress reports, discharge summaries, and annual reviews.

Qualifications: Requires a Master's degree in counseling, social work, or psychology. Clinical experience in counseling services preferred. Must be license eligible with a supervision contract in place. Valid driver s license required.

Physical Requirements: Operates office equipment and therapeutic resources. Ability to assist in crisis interventions when needed.

Performance Indicators: Demonstrates knowledge of therapy plans, behavioral assessments, and comapny policies. Maintains high standards of accuracy and efficiency. Takes initiative, shows enthusiasm, and exercises good judgment. Cooperates well with supervisors, staff, and other departments. Plans and organizes work effectively. Adheres to safety and housekeeping standards.
