We are located in the rolling countryside of Great Falls, Virginia and known for our challenging, beautifully-maintained golf course. **A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A DINING ROOM SERVER**
As Dining Room Server, we hope you are passionate about five-star hospitality, good food, and exceeding our members' expectations. You will begin each shift with setting up the dining areas in preparation for meal periods and events including setting of tables, stocking supplies in side stands, ensuring condiments are refreshed, tables are clean and neatly arranged. You will be greeting members with a smile, providing menus, and explaining any "specials" that are available, including wine program details, then taking beverage and food orders on Ipads. You will deliver food and beverages accurately to each table and stopping by regularly to monitor beverages and refreshing them as needed along with any additional member needs throughout the meal.
You will periodically attend pre meal briefings, taste panels with the culinary staff to be briefed on descriptions of menu items and sample specials and new menu items, as well as Wine education classes. We ensure that members needs are met so you will communicate feedback to the Dining Room Manager and the culinary staff. **QUALIFICATIONS**
* Ability to read and write English
* Computer literacy
* Knowledge of proper food service techniques
* Prior fine dining experience preferred but not required
* Must maintain a clean and well groomed appearance
* Ability to stand and walk for a majority of a shift
* Ability to carry 25 -lb trays as needed
* Reliable transportation
