Job Description

The base salary range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00 hourly.

Our Security Dispatcher will assist in coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Security Department and is responsible for performing a variety of associated administrative tasks. This role will handle guest and associate accidents involving the dispatch of personnel for service requested, reporting, investigation, problem correction, and follow-up. This individual will maintain and submit accurate records, files, logs, and reports dealing with safety and security for the resort. The ideal candidate will exemplify the ENRICH values of Auberge Resorts Collection and will contribute to a welcoming and collaborative guest and team member experience. A guard card not required for this role; however, this can be an option to obtain through Mauna Lani for the right candidate looking to advance to our Security Patrol Officer position.

  • Monitoring and coordinating telecommunication systems.
  • Using proper telephone and radio protocols.
  • Takes action on issues relating to the department's function.
  • Maintain and submit manual and digitize records, logs, files and reports as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of lost and found and keys issued/retrieved under security control.
  • Monitor alarm and surveillance equipment.
  • Inspect parcels/packages and issue paychecks.
  • Coordinate specified administrative activities and program and follow-up assignments.
  • Handles guest and associate accidents involving reporting, investigation, problem correction, and follow-up.
  • Maintains files relating to accidents.
  • Involved in emergencies, works to maintain compliance to policies and procedures as it relates to safety and security, takes action to correct potential problems as it relates to safety/security.
  • Act as the Incident Command Center in times of emergencies until otherwise assigned.


Qualifications
  • Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and ability. High school graduates preferred.
  • A minimum of 1year experience in a similar position in a related setting.
  • Valid State of Hawaii Drivers License.
  • CPR, First Aid and AED certified.
  • Working knowledge of computerized systems.
  • Proficiency in oral and written communications.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Portray a high level of professionalism with warmth.
