Hire Resolve's client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a CAD Technician in Warren, NJ.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with engineers and designers to review design drawings and understand project needs.
- Follow instructions from the design team to create and modify design drawings.
- Take verbal directions and prepare sketches in Auto CAD format.
- Create technical drawings and plans for civil engineering projects.
- Assist project team in producing technical drawings.
- Coordinate filing, storage, and retrieval of drawings.
- Employees in this role will be responsible for meeting their time management goals as set forth by their supervisor.

- Collaborate with teammates, management, and clients to continue to foster an inclusive work culture.
- Review their own work for accuracy prior to returning the drawings back to manager or other staff.
Requirements - Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Technical Degree in Auto/CAD/Drafting Technology
- AutoCAD Certification, MicroStation Certification a plus.
- 0-2 years' experience as a CAD technician.
- Ability to read and translate technical design drawings. Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.
- Positive attitude with good initiative.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Self-starter with a curious nature and a strong desire to learn
