RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Process Technician must perform the set-up of injection molding equipment.
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of complex injection molding equipment.
- Must adjust and set molds prior to production.
- Provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
- The Process Technician must complete line clearance following color changes.
- Respond to machine alarms.
- Monitor, audit, and provide guidance to line operators.
QUALIFICATIONS:- The Process Technician must hold a high school diploma.
- Must be a certified RJG Master Molder to be considered for the position.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience performing mold set ups using tools and machinery related to plastic injection molding.
- Must have hands-on injection molding processing and troubleshooting.
- Some knowledge in understanding of robotics and auxiliary equipment used with Plastics Injection molding machines.
- The Process Technician must have experience of multi-shot molding, automated color blending and central material drying.
- Must have experience with engineering grade materials.
- Strong knowledge in using shop monitoring systems for proper assignment of various codes, mold cavitation, etc.
- The Process Technician must be willing to get company provided, Lift Truck and overhead crane certification.
- Must be a LOCAL candidate.
- Must be flexible to work overtime, in other shifts, weekends, and occasional holiday.
