Plan, define, develop, and implement test systems as needed for new product introductions.Support, maintain and improve test systems throughout the factoryDrive quality through internal and external root cause countermeasure of failuresDevelop and implement lean manufacturing practices to drive metrics (quality, cost, innovation)Identify and drive cost saving opportunities through redesign and supplier relationshipsInform design engineering of existing production capabilities, equipment, facilities and standard practices to influence the development of new designsSpecify all hardware requirements for test systems.Troubleshoot and maintain electrical I/O, communication boards for various stations.Coordinate design changes for existing stations as per product requirementsValidate test stations using software and hardware.Provide technical assistances for hardware and software debugging.Review test results and analyze test data from database and improve yields.Qualifications
Qualifications
:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.2+ years of related experience engineering experience.Demonstrated understanding & knowledge of continuous improvement (Kaizen, lean, etc.) a plus.Peer mentorship experience within a team, project or job desired.Ability to handle high pressures, prioritize work load and understand impact of duties required.Respond to metric/goal driven environment, take initiative to meet goals.Good understanding of analog and digital based circuitryKnowledge programming in C#, MATLAB, PostgreSQL, Linux, C++, etc.Good written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem-solving methodologyData analysis and statistical understanding
Everett, WA: The salary range for this position is $72,450 - $134,550
This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
