Position Summary 1st shift 6am to 230pm. 1 2nd shift availale. 230p-11p
Job Purpose:
Responsibilities include any of the following activities related to the storing, picking and/or shipping of materials or finished goods and that finished goods are packaged according to specification and shipped in a timely manner
Nature of Duties:
- Approves product for shipment by performing visual inspection of content, packaging and labeling to specified requirements. Returns non-conforming product for rework and re-confirms rework
- Approves material kits by performing visual inspection of content, packaging and labeling to specified requirements. Returns non-conforming product for rework, and re-confirms rework
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
- Keeps inspection and measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Education and Experience :
- Two to three years product inspection experience is preferred
- Possesses the capability to read and interpret technical requirements, ensuring that products and parts meet quality standards
- Must have excellent organizational and verbal and written communication skills
- Must be computer literate with the ability to use standard office software
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-talk and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines
- Ability to work under indirect supervision and followings established practices and policies
- Ability to lift heavy objects and to stand for long periods on the job.
- Overtime may be required to meet production deadlines
