The Construction Administrator at RLPS Architects


As a Construction Administrator, you will play a vital role in our Lancaster office as you ensure that the design intent of assigned projects is followed and serve as a reliable liaison between the RLPS team, engineering partners, consultants, and the Owner. As a member of the team, you will be an important contributor to furthering RLPS's relationship driven design approach in the senior living, higher education, and K-12 spaces.


Core Responsibilities

Administer the Owner and Contractor agreements, coordinate with all project team members, and confirm the project is in accordance with said contract documents.

Issue Architect Supplemental Instructions (ASI's), certify pay applications, and prepare change order proposals.

Coordinate reviews of Requests for Information (RFI's) and shop drawings with RLPS design staff and our consultants.

Travel to project sites and lead meetings with the Owner, Architect, and Contractor to ensure progress and the quality of the construction project while representing RLPS.

Conduct substantial completion of punch list inspections.


What You'll Need


Have 5 or more years of experience as an Architect, Architectural Project Manager, Construction Administrator, Construction Project Manager, or Assistant Project Manager

Requisite experience or A Bachelor or Master's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering from an accredited college.


  • with AIA documents in accordance with the Owner and Architectural agreements plus project general conditions.
  • with Bluebeam, Procore, Autodesk Construction cloud and similar database management systems. REVIT experience is preferred.
