While receiving guidance from store leadership, the Production Support Specialist will seek to Elevate People by Eliminating Barriers to Employment through assisting and serving customers, ensuring they are delighted with their experience at Goodwill so that they choose to continue to shop and donate at Goodwill NCW.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Accepts donations by greeting the customer and assisting them as needed with bringing the donations in the door

- Treat donated items with respect and show appreciation to the customer

- Offer Donation Receipt and distribute Donation Coupons when applicable

- Cycle full Dandux of donations in First In- First Out order

- Proficiently pre-sort Dandux of donations

- Keep donation door neat/clean/organized

- Quality sort and price in one department/category

- Work with leader to determine what is needed on the floor/merchandising

- Request more material or product to keep production flowing

- Dump trash carts when full

- Ticket pre-priced new goods

- Assist with customer carryouts

- Store Recovery

**Education, Skills and Experience**

- Customer service skills

- Willingness to jump in and help where needed

- Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment is preferred

- At least a basic level of competency with computers to complete e-learning opportunities and utilize organizations intranet

- Experience in operating a power pallet jack, power stacker, pallet jack, flatbed, Tilt Master, dolly, tilt truck, Gaylord banding equipment or compactor is preferred

* Must be physically able to work with customers on the sales floor for long periods of time.

* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and do truck unloading and loading as needed.

* Extensive team member contact and frequent interruptions.

* Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, twist, lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight.

* Operate cash register requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination.

* Travel to other locations may be required.

* Verbally communicate to exchange information.
