Facilities Technician


Job Details

Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the facility's structure, equipment, and grounds, including all trades (mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.). Performs basic trades work, such as carpentry or painting, in the construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures. Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
Supports conference room set-ups/tear-downs, internal moves, dry-erase board installations. Supports Facilities moves, furniture installations, and reconfigurations.
Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications. Requires knowledge of applicable standards or regulations.
General strong trade experience/knowledge
Must have basic PC/Microsoft Office skills.
Navigate email/timecards etc. use software for work orders/emails/etc.
Follow EHS policies and procedures.
Proficiency in Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LO/TO) procedures.
Must have ability to lift upto 45 pounds. Will need to work outside, inside, walking building and grounds. Exposure to exterior elements including cold, wind, and heat.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
