Water/Wastewater/Water Resources CADD Team Lead

Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Water/Wastewater/Water Resources CADD Team Lead, we'll count on you to:
- Create designs independently under broad direction from the Project Engineer or Project Manager on various design projects
- Direct preparation of drawings by other BIM Technicians of lesser experience, or take direct supervisory responsibility for BIM staff as needed
- Complete projects with distinctive design features differing significantly from BIM Technician precedents as needed
- Work with clients or contractor representatives as needed
- Perform other duties as needed
Required Qualifications- Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience
- 10+ years of experience with civil engineering/site development projects
- Requires extensive knowledge of BIM, design development, construction documents, technical and engineering knowledge
- Requires a good working knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, Inroads, ProjectWise, LDD, construction documents and technical aspects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to gather, organize and interpret data for process monitoring or business case development
- Oral and written communication skills
- Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop experience
- Understanding of conveyance and collection piping systems, profile development, and site grading are a must
- Experience with design of pumping stations and water treatment facilities a plus
- Understanding of railroad engineering skills
- Strong Experience with Highway design, street design, drainage and PSR/PR
- Experience with Bentley products such as ProjectWise is a plus
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications- Associate degree in Civil Technology
Compensation: $42.00 - $55.00 per hour
