Job Description (LOCATION, PROVINCE)
Maintaining an excellent flow and selection of products to choose from, this role contributes to the success of the Shoppers Drug Mart Beauty team. Organizing back room product, ensuring our shelves are replenished and maintaining a visually appealing showroom is all part of this creative and dynamic role.
The ideal Beauty Merchandiser will:
Pool & Process Returns (weekly)
Event Set-Up & Recovery (weekly)
Display/POP Assembly (weekly)
Maintains/organizes cosmetics, fragrance and dermatological drawers
Adjust fixtures, pricing, filing, and cleaning (as required)
Cosmetics Lock-Up Maintenance & organize backroom stock
Cycle count advises appropriate person on stock outs/shortages
Assembles and displays pre-packs as per planogram instruction
Displays signage and talkers accordingly including flyers and corporate markdowns
Expert in assigned areas of product inventory, product placement, expiry dates, promotion, etc.
Maintains operating standard guidelines pertaining to image and trends in store
Ensures product displays are consumer focused and shoppable
Works with Front Store Manager and Beauty Manager to identify out of stock solutions, exit strategy and order replenishment opportunities
Takes initiative to acknowledge and assist all customers in the aisles and transfer to Beauty Staff
Supports the business to maximize the customers experience
Perform other duties as required such as cash, when required
