Senior Consultant Writer/Editor

to join our federal technology services practice. We are looking for a consummate professional to work within our IT Transformation PMO project at the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HSS) Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) Office of Information Technology (OIT). OIT is embarking on a strategic initiative to build up its IT capabilities. You should have experience in IT Strategy, IT Governance, IT Policy, and IT transformation.ResponsibilitiesCapture comprehensive policy requirements in collaboration with SMEs and staffSupport author, revise, editing of policy documents and standard operating proceduresReview and validate IT service offerings, systems, and processes.Review IT workforce planning model for alignment with IT transition.Develop IT strategies, recommendations, and communications.Identify critical IT workforce gaps based on IT Functional BlueprintProduce diagrams, charts, and data visualizationsProvide subject matter expertise related to Working Capital FundIdentify standard set of technology required to enable new IT delivery capabilities.delegated examining authoritiesAnalyze planned activities delegated examining authoritiesQualificationsRequired EducationRequired ExperienceMust have 2 or more years of experience in Information Technology projects.A strong background and relevant experience in federal IT policy is preferred.Preference for candidates with experience public health and/or emergencyExperience planning IT capability, capacity, and IT transformationExperience gathering/eliciting requirements and facilitating group discussions.Ability to guide the team through ambiguity to gain clarity on requirementsAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbout Aveshka:Aveshka is a professional services firm focused on addressing our nation s most complex threats and challenges.
