Holy Cross Hospital, one of Montgomery County's top ranked hospitals is seeking experienced Pharmacy Techs to support our Pharmacy Department at our Germantown location.

* Will support the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Health.

Minimum Requirements:

* National Pharmacy Technician Certification (Pharmacy students actively enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school are exempt)

Registration with the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Board of Pharmacy

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* One year of healthcare pharmacy technician experience required.

* Pass math/pharmaceutical calculation test. Nationally certified pharmacy technician. Successful completion of foreign pharmacy graduate examination will be considered equivalent.

* Preferred: one year of IV admixture and chemotherapy experience.

* Able to communicate effectively, speak, write and comprehend English.

* Able to work cooperatively with hospital and pharmacy staff in order to meet objectives.

* Must be able to handle frequent interruptions and changes in workload and work schedule.

* Preferred: Knowledge of software: Word, Excel, Power Point; ASHP accredited residency, membership in ASHP, MSHP, MPhS, and WMSHP.

Reporting Relationship:

* Reports to the Director of Pharmacy; accountable to pharmacy operations manager for matters pertaining to pharmacy operations.
