CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking an Account Manager for a highly regarded client in the insurance and benefits industry. As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the client insurance programs, handling accounts, supervising a team including the account representatives, call center and benefits administrators, and managing the administration of client benefit programs. You will serve as the main point of contact with the clients and vendors, and will be involved in managing insurance contracts and compliance. Qualified candidates will have at least 3 years of experience as a Benefits Account Executive in the small to mid-market sector. Requirements for the Account Manager:
Candidates are preferred to have at least 3-5 years of experience as a Benefits Account Executive in the small to mid-market sector
Brokerage experience is required
Must have an active Group 1 license (or be willing to obtain is within 6 months)
Professional certifications related to benefits and insurance (RHU, GBA, CEBS CE), a plus!
Strong understanding of fully-insured benefits products, services, and vendors
Proficient in wellness programs, including carrier-based options, and strategies exclusive to the client and specific to their needs
Bilingual Spanish speaking, a huge plus
Ability to work on hybrid
Ability to travel to meet client service requirements
Compensation for the Account Manager:
Direct Hire
Location: Fort Worth TX (Hybrid, with 2 days remote)
Pay: $70-110K/year, plus bonus opportunities
Schedule: Monday-Friday (with flexibility between 7am and 6pm)
