Job Overview:

Search Solution Group is actively seeking a Vice President of Human Resources for our client in Stow, OH, a leader in the manufacturing sector specializing in automotive repair tools and diagnostic equipment. The VP of HR will oversee all human resources operations, playing a pivotal role in shaping the company's culture, enhancing workforce capabilities, and driving strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a 5-person HR team to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Design and implement comprehensive HR strategies that align with the company's business goals.
  • Manage employee relations, resolving concerns and issues to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Oversee recruitment and selection processes to ensure they meet the company's needs and cultural alignment.
  • Foster employee engagement, motivation, and retention to meet current and future operational demands.
  • Implement and oversee a performance appraisal system that drives high performance and supports professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory human resource requirements.
Requirements Include:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Extensive experience as an HR executive, preferably in the manufacturing or automotive industry.
  • Skills: Exceptional leadership and team management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, high ethical standards and professionalism.
  • Certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or similar HR professional certification is advantageous.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices.
  • Key Competencies: Inspirational leadership, adaptability to change, quick learning ability, and preferably a technical background in the automotive or manufacturing sectors.
