Seeking a tenacious, proactive Lead Recruiter to be a key member of Megastar HR s talent acquisition team.


SUMMARY: The Lead Recruiter has an opportunity to grow a full-service recruitment business by recruiting top talent for Megastar HR clients and NPAworldwide partner recruitment firms.


SCHEDULE: Full-time, Flexible hours, Remote


PAY: This is a commission-based position, paying 35% of recruiting fees earned.


BENEFITS: We pay 75% of medical, dental, and vision premiums. We also offer a 401(k) plan with a generous company match.


WHAT YOU'LL DO DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Job Analysis & Descriptions: Conduct position analyses to identify qualifications and aligned market-based compensation; Support leaders to revise job descriptions as needed to accurately reflect essential responsibilities and qualifications; Draft aligned job postings also featuring company benefits and culture
  • Candidate Sourcing: Proactively source qualified candidates based on requirements; Strategically manage job postings on job boards, social media, state & local employment agencies, educational institutions, professional associations, internally, etc. to target top talent
  • Candidate Screening: Screen & evaluate candidates for qualifications and interest via resume review and pre-screen interviews; Recommend vetted, qualified candidates for interview with hiring leader; Manage up-to-date ATS pipelines and candidates effectively
  • Interview Support: Train & support hiring leaders in interviewing best practices & process
  • Offer Negotiation: Act as liaison between hiring leaders and candidates to strategically communicate & negotiate employment offers; Remain in close communication with candidates to drive accountability to timely offer acceptance or declination
  • Background Checks: Coordinate reference checks, education/certification verifications, credit checks, and background checks as needed
  • Perform additional, related duties as needed


WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of sales or recruiting experience, preferably in an RPO or recruitment firm environment
  • Working knowledge of recruitment acumen, principles, and best practices; current with relevant trends & applications
  • Strong attention to detail; Time management, project management, & organizational skills
  • Effective, influential verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate clearly and effectively throughout the recruitment process; Must speak, read, and write English fluently
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, able to build and maintain strong relationships and rapport with clients and candidates
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, career website platforms, and applicant tracking systems (we use Loxo for our ATS, but our clients use various systems)
  • Ethical & professional conduct, able to handle sensitive & proprietary information with discretion & confidentiality
