Job Responsibilities:

* Including but not limited to; wire and cable marking, cutting, stripping, lacing, crimping, soldering, inserting, harness board routing, continuity testing and mechanical assembly.

* Ability to read and follow assembly instructions written in English.

* Utilization of manual and automated tooling used in wire, cable and sheet metal assembly.

* Is self-motivated, ability to work independently, and function as an effective team member.

* Mentoring of entry level assemblers

* Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with company policies and procedures.

* Willingness to provide and receive constructive input and feedback.

Job Requirements:

Education and Experience:

* High school diploma required.

* Three years of relevant experience required.

* Prior wire harness fabrication and aircraft mechanical assembly experience.

* Prior experience with IPC J-STD-001 and WHMA-A-620 and capable of becoming certified in these two programs.

* Previous experience working in a controlled team environment with a strong mechanical aptitude

Skills and Abilities:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Maintain specific quality requirements throughout the process.

* Dexterous with hand tools used in the Electo-Mechanical assembly processes.

* Ability to read customer drawings and follow assembly instructions.

* Knowledge and experience understanding wire harness and cable assembly acceptability requirements.

* Ability to fluently speak, read, analyze, and interpret instructions, inspection criteria, and engineering work instructions that are in English. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers, lead-persons/supervisors.

* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using Imperial System of Measurement. Foot, inches, decimal.

Physical Requirements:

* Requires prolonged periods of sitting at workstations, walking and standing.

* Must be able to use hands and arms for repetitive movements, such as movement of wrists, hands, fingers while assembling.

* May occasionally be required to lift and carry up to 20lbs.
