Ryan Companies is looking for an organized, innovative, collaborative and forward-thinking Designer to join our team in Phoenix! The ideal candidate will be able to problem solve and design both as part of a collaborative team and perform work independently. Candidates with approximately 1-3 years of experience are most likely to be successful. Ryan Companies uses a unique integrated delivery process that involves architecture, engineering, construction, development, real estate management and capital markets. Ryan s integrated process requires an individual to be able to work in a proactive and positive manner in tandem with local teams and cross regionally within a national design practice.Some things you can expect to do:Work in tandem with Client, Project Architect, Design Project Manager, Designers, Development, Construction and Consultants to develop documentation for coordination and constructionParticipate in design meetings, consultant meetings and project team meetings.Independently solve problems.Seek guidance on unusual or complex technical issues.Assist in code reviews and regulatory approval process.Create complete and thorough set of design documents to meet project goals, milestones and schedule.Assist with Ryan s QA/QC process and project specifications.Clearly communicate deviations in project scope.Perform tasks with a high level of collaboration and set an example for others to follow.Contribute to Ryan culture through participation in office activities, initiatives and learning programs.To be successful in this role, you must have a Professional Architecture degree; Bachelor or Master of Architecture or Technical.You will really stand out if you:Have a strong knowledge of Revit.Are working through your Architectural licensure process.Have experience working in Bluebeam.Are LEED AP Certified and/or WELL AP Certified.Have the knowledge and willingness to learn building codes, documentation and constructability.Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S.Must be authorized to work in the U.S.Certain positions and locations require Covid-19 vaccination, subject to reasonable accommodations for valid medical or sincerely held religious reasons.Medical, Dental and Vision BenefitsRetirement and Savings BenefitsFlexible Spending AccountsLife InsuranceEducational AssistancePaid Time Off (PTO)Long-term DisabilityRyan Foundation charitable matching fundsPaid Time for Volunteer EventsEEO Policy and Reasonable Accomodation Notice
