Fiberglass Fabricator

To provide an excellent finished product representing the skills and capabilities held by the company
To accurately represent the desired look and feel of a client s proposed project.

Duties and Responsibilities
Level I: Hourly Rate of $18.00 - $22.00
Roller / Lay-up
Performs structural and cosmetic fiberglass and carbon fiber repairs to a variety of props, show figures and miscellaneous theming parts.
Build and repair show and theming elements such as rocks using a variety of materials such as concrete, fiberglass, epoxy, polyester and other resins, urethanes, plastic, wood and metal
Working with urethanes, water based, oil based, stains, lacquers, epoxies, etc.
Molding materials including resins, silicone, fiberglass, etc.
Use of bodywork materials including bondo, wood putty, caulk, spot putty, etc.
Use of tools including spray guns, airless sprayers, sanders, grinders, etc.

Level II: Hourly Rate of $22.00 - $27.00
Resin application
Layup schedule
Gel coat
Mold prep

Level III: Hourly Rate of $27.00 - $30.00
Chop gun operation
Lamination
Knowing all FRP production processes
QAQC of mold / part production
Processing BIM 360 updates and document tracking


Qualifications / Experience / Skills and Attributes
Previous experience working with Fiberglass.
Requirements:
Minimum of one-year experience with field installation
Good knowledge of the materials, tools, equipment, and machinery that are used in the industry is preferred.
Able to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with all customers, team members and management.
Ability to read and understand written procedures which apply directly to job duties.
Ability to read tape measure down to the 8th
Excellent organization and time management skills
Ability to take initiative and prioritize.
Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Must bring personal typical hand tools aligned with Carpentry (i.e
tool pouch, 25 tape measure, speed square, pliers, screwdrivers, chisel, and pry bars)

Level II: Additional Requirements
Minimum of three-years experience with field installation
Ability to read tape measure down to the 16th
Ability to review and understand construction drawings and specifications.
Mechanically inclined

Working Conditions / Schedule
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a warehouse setting.
Hours: 6am 2:30pm (MON-FRI)
o 30-minute lunch (unpaid)
o 15-minute break (paid)

18.00-30.00/hr DOE
