Shipping and Receiving Associate I
Job Responsibilities:
Report directly to the Shipping Receiving Manager and communicate regularly with departmental managers.
Confirm and record the receipt/ shipment of orders.
Prepare items for shipping. This includes using power tools to build custom pallets and crates and carefully packaging items for safe delivery to our customers.
Quality Control
Load and unload trucks.
Verify packing lists for accuracy.
Notify billing department of any back ordered items before shipment.
Notify customers and sales representatives of shipment info including tracking numbers and orders ready for will call.
Familiar with a variety of the organization's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Will perform production team member duties at times.
Contribute to team effort by performing additional tasks as needed.
Knowledge/Skills:
Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
1-3 years of experience in Shipping/Receiving environments preferred.
Starting Pay: $18.00-$21.50 per hour
