Andrew Morgan Consulting seeks a full-time Data Analytics Developer to join our team in support of several of our clients. The ideal candidate will experience a wide range of projects and technology platforms. We are looking for a person who enjoys architecting difference making solutions for our customers that solve problems. The optimal candidate is willing to work hard to learn new technologies and new methods of solving data problems to rise the challenges of each project.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead client projects and discussions in cloud data management/movement architecture, data modeling, ETL, big data, data analytics and optimal methods of visualizing the data.
  • Design and execute the development of complex analytic solutions using a range of tools and techniques that deliver the best outcome for the client.
  • Design and implement complex data models using a wide range of data sources and APIs.
  • Develop support capabilities to enable flawless data integration and resilient processes using tools such as Microsoft 365, Power BI, Tableau, RPA tools, Azure and AWS.
  • Advanced understanding data modelling and data management techniques.
  • Ability to leverage database systems including data warehouses, data marts, and models needed for business, financial, and operational analysis and/or reporting.
  • Ability to lead data management and data visualization discussions with clients to achieve desired outcomes within the constraints of the project.
  • Ability to develop a coherent set of metrics and KPIs that provide actionable insight for the business leaders.
  • Create visually appealing, rich data visualizations and reports using the Microsoft PowerBI Platform and/or Tableau Platform that support the strategic intent of the stakeholders.
  • Analyze data to determine appropriate metric values for the designated project
  • Develop briefing materials and assist with client meetings and documentation related to the solution.
  • Guide and support change management activities to enable strong adoption of the work products delivered.
  • Manage multiple workstreams for each project according to budget and schedule.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related field.
  • 2+ years of experience designing and implementing data analysis capabilities using Microsoft capabilities (Azure Data Factory, Power BI, etc) leveraging a wide range of data sources and APIs.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Understanding and experience with Agile Development methodologies.
  • Experience with data and data analysis (including refining data in excel, data collection, and data interpretation).
  • Demonstrated understanding of advanced data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc) including calculated fields, DAX, and data profiling/cleansing.
  • Experience developing highly effective materials and work products (PowerPoint decks, Power BI dashboards, detailed reports, etc.).
  • Possesses strong organizational skills and pays attention to detail.
  • Proactive in asking questions to identify ways to improve client delivery.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills to support business writing, professional correspondence, and meeting facilitation with diverse group of clients.
Desired Qualifications
  • Federal government and commercial consulting experience
  • Previous experience with healthcare
  • Microsoft PowerBI Data Analyst Certification
Location
  • Hybrid. This role is primarily remote; however, occational travel will be required to client-site meeting(s) in D.C.
  • DC-area, preferred.
Salary
  • Commensurate with experience and location
