Aerotek voted Best Of Staffing, is hiring for mechanical and electrical assemblers with a local manufacturing facility with a pay rate of $20 - $25/hour (paid weekly). These are contract-to-hire positions offering great opportunities for growth and advancement!Job Responsibilities:ElectricalThis position will be doing electrical assembly on control panels for water filtration systemsFollowing Blueprints and SchematicsWiring control panelsMechanicalPerforms repetitive plumbing and mechanical assembly or simple electro mechanical assembly involving sensitive or precise dexterous movements to maintain pace and quality of assembly workFollows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product qualityReceives components or items for assembly and/or test in programmed sequenceAssembles mechanical or electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordinationAssembles all variations of in-house standard productsFollows assembly/test instructions, e.g. color code, pvc solvent welding and thread tapingUses simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixturesEnter work hours in ERP system (Currently SAP)Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activitiesReads and interprets blueprintsMaintains equipment and area in a clean safe conditionQualifications:Required: Minimum 6 months' relevant experience requiredWill lift up to 50 lbs independently.
