We are currently partnering with a leading Renewables Developer. Due to continued growth they are looking for a Development Manager to join the team in California. This role can be remote, however, they need someone with local permitting experience.
You will be responsible for the development of solar, storage and onshore wind projects.
Responsibilities
- Obtain local, state permits
- Lead development across the full life of the project
- Find new development opportunities within the state
- Negotiation with land owners
- Manage interconnection activities
- Oversee project design
- Project budgeting
Requirements
- 5+ years work experience in the renewable sector
- Ability to manage the development for multiple, large scale projects
- Strong organizational and networking skills
- Public speaking and personal skills
- Valid drivers license
