Summary
Manage day-to-day operations for office staff and all field crews in all crafts, primarilybut not solely in the Immediate Area (6-hour radius from Charlotte, NC), always with an eye towards the Company mantras of Inconveniencing the Customer as Little as
Possible while Creating Systems and Procedures that are Easily Maintained and Trained .

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Recognize crew size needs and craft makeupof crew for each project,regardless of type, along with recognizing project duration to ensure bids/proposals are adequate but competitive
Must be proficient in Microsoft 365 suite, and general computing, able to learn Company s proprietary custom software and use as needed to support job function duties
Ability to prioritize tasks to ensure schedules are kept and, if schedules are slipping due to equipmentor personnel availability, the ability to forecast the issues and elevate the situation to the reporting manager to obtain necessary assistance
Very strong verbal and writtencommunication skills leavingnothing to the imagination in your instructions & requirements
Effectively communicate up and down to ensure total understanding of directives
Essential Functions
Do whatever it takes
Work closely with Corporate SafetyOfficers to properly manage proactive and reactive safetyprograms and adjustas needed based on feedback from Company Superintendents/Supervisors and Customers
Job Planning & Scheduling working with Company Project Managers to interface with customers to ensure customer scheduling needs are met
Personnel - Recruiting, hiring and managing crews (by way of Company Staffing Resources)
Equipment Ensure proper written checklists are generated after job walks to aid in mobilization
Processes/Procedures Maintain, edit and create written processes and procedures for all aspects of the Division
Consult with Company Management and Engineering on best practices for design details on a per-project basis
Determine whether equipment should be purchasedor rented and work with Company s Equipment Manager for procurement
On-Site Management of projects as needed as we grow ,although goal is to keep Project Managers,Superintendents and Supervisors managing projects
Review all project plan lists for each projectwith a questioning attitude, whether created by yourself or others. Ensure we have what we need on day one of each job
Review each project regularly and in real time to proactively help Project Managers
