Sr. Electrical Engineer - Electric Vehicle Power
Delta Electronics (Americas) - Livonia, MI
Essential Responsibilities:
- Understand OEM s system requirements, create system requirement documentation (SRD) and component specification.
- Lead design analysis, including of DFMEA, WCCA and functional safety.
- Conduct electrical hands-on work in lab and in field.
- Lead RFI/RFQ technical proposal with engineering assumptions, commercial impact assessment and product demonstrations.
- Facilitate design review and regular meetings with customers and global design teams.
- Develop local product test capabilities and conduct test in a local engineering lab.
- Support vehicle integration and resolve quality issues.
- Coordinate and support production field application issue resolution.
Essential Requirements:
- BS, MS degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 6+ years of experience with design or applications engineering experience on power electronics products, preferably in automotive power module design and release experience.
- Good understanding of product development process.
- Hands-on experience with electronic power products. High voltage, high power experience preferred. Training will be provided.
- Good verbal and writing communication skills in English. Chinese language skill is helpful.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and activities.
- Strong team coordination skills.
