Starting Salary Range: $65,000 - 75,000 ($90k - $100k OTE)

Reports to: Lead Sales Development Representative

Position Overview:

The Sales Development Representative will play a significant role in supporting the sales team to generate new business opportunities for the company. This role reflects the ability to identify, contact, and qualify potential customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for representing the company s products and services and using comprehensive knowledge, as well as consumer research to explain how our solutions meet customer needs.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities to generate new leads through calls, emails, and social media.
  • Research and identify potential clients, understanding their business needs and pain points.
  • Engage with prospects to qualify them based on predefined criteria.
  • Assess the potential for business opportunities and schedule meetings for the Sales team.
  • Effectively communicate our value proposition to prospects.
  • Record and manage all lead information and interactions in the CRM system.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date information on leads, opportunities, and activities.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to align strategies and ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads.
  • Provide feedback to enhance marketing campaigns and improve lead generation.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and qualification.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Development Representative or in a similar role.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Solid understanding of HubSpot and/or other sales and forecasting software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • The ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Skill in crafting and delivering presentations and briefings.
  • Ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Analytical mindset to gather, analyze, and interpret data for decision-making.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on achieving goals within specified timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage the executive's schedule.

Compensation:

The starting salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 plus commission ($90k - $100k OTE), with a generous benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, and generous paid time off.

Working Location and Environment:

BarTrack s primary office is in Sterling, VA, and has a hybrid work schedule of 1 day in and 4 days remote after ramp up. This is a general work environment with infrequent exposure to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.).
