A Tool Technician job is available with our client in Odessa, TX. In this role you will perform maintenance functions such as repairs on down-hole tools, surface equipment and other production equipment in the application for down- hole tools. You will assemble and disassemble down-hole tools, surface equipment, and other production equipment. To be considered for this role you will have the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is required.
Tool Tech Job Duties:
- Perform maintenance functions such as repairs on down-hole tools, cement head equipment and liner hanger equipment in the application for down-hole tools.
- Assemble and disassemble and maintenance.
- Ensures compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.
- Working in a workshop environment.
- Shift: Two weeks on, one week off. Hours/day would range between 8hrs to 16 hrs, most commonly averaging 11 hours a day.
Knowledge/ Skill/ Ability/ Education/ Experience:
- Basic Computer skills
- Must have a Driver"s License
- Experience in similar field (oilfield services)
- Experience with Assembly, Disassembly, and maintenance
- Safety- Gloves, steel-toed boots, hard hat, safety glasses
- Work well with a team
