Procurement and Warehouse Manager

Position Description:

Responsible for managing the procurement process, including contract management, strategic sourcing, relationship management, and vendor conflicts. Oversee the planning, receiving, warehousing, control and distribution of materials and products across multiple centralized and field locations according to the company needs and requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the company s goals and objectives, including policies and procedures for purchasing products and services
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors and suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and pricing agreements while ensuring quality and compliance
  • Maintain and manage relationships with key vendors, monitor performance, and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner
  • Oversee the contract lifecycle management process, from initial vendor selection to contract negotiation, execution, and renewal
  • Collaborate with product owners and internal management to review and negotiate contract terms and conditions, ensuring alignment with company policies
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as ethical standards, in all procurement activities
  • Work closely with leadership to monitor and analyze procurement spend, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, including supplier reliability, and compliance
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data-driven analysis of procurement activities

Assist in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training of procurement and warehousing personnel

Track, review and report on procurement and warehousing KPIs

Direct inventory control, shipping and receiving, and materials storage

Maintain appropriate inventory levels and keep track of lead times for critical materials and products

Maintains and ensures accuracy of the perpetual inventory system

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

7+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or vendor management

3+ years in a management or leadership position

Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite with data manipulation ability within Excel

Working knowledge of warehouse operations and management

Prefer experience working within NetSuite and RF Smart WMS

Prefer forklift operating experience with certification

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at times

Must be able to access all areas of facilities to determine needs

Will require travel
