Position Summary

Currently seeking a Senior Manager to join the Beauty Experience team at CVS Health Corporate in Woonsocket, RI. This unique opportunity will focus on the development and execution of merchandise strategies that support CVS as a destination for Beauty including but not limited to identifying and launching new innovation to drive customer engagement instore and online, creating go to market strategies for key brand launches; reimagining the customer journey across physical and digital touchpoints. The ideal candidate should have a passion for merchandising and innovation, with several years of experience in retail innovation and store design, and 2-3 years in a in an analytical, merchandising, or buying position; ease with breaking down and solving complex problems; . This role is currently work hybrid out of Woonsocket, RI.

  • Ensuring all aspects of the Beauty & Personal Care Service & Experience strategy is developed, socialized and implemented in a way that aligns with business goals and prioritizes business growth and impact
  • Identifying and mobilizing cross-functional support required to achieve business objectives, including areas of tactical and strategic support
  • Providing business expertise needed to set planning priorities and develop implementation approach(es), as well as provide targeted training to drive education and knowledge needed to implement strategies
  • Serving as a trusted subject matter expert on behalf of the Beauty & Personal Care Service & Experience, as well as preparing for and leading various business reviews with senior leaders by coordinating and finalizing relevant materials, ensuring follow-up and execution of strategy by divisional leaders
  • Recommending appropriate actions, strategies and / or alternative courses of action to meet business needs
  • Collaborating with key senior business partners (VPs, DMMs, Senior CMs, CMs, Directors,) to understand their strategies, challenges and goals in order to translate these into actionable deployment and / or task plans, establish benchmark metrics, provide progress updates, etc.
  • Manage multiple and often competing priorities, with the flexibility to respond to urgent senior leader requests for data and provide actionable solutions
  • Representing the the Beauty & Personal Care Service & Experience team in various internal meetings with senior leaders
  • Regular travel to select markets for meetings, field travel, and other events as directed


Aid in the sourcing, launching, and management of new competitive opportunities at CVS across the Beauty and Personal care categories

Responsible for the development, curation and maintenance of key Beauty formats and layouts; including creating new merchandising vehicles and evolving existing programs, including but not limited to the Beauty In Real Life Trending Endcap Program, the Skin Care Centers,

Build and nurture strong vendor relationships to collaborate on go to market strategies, effective events, and off shelf opportunities.

Craft and support Beauty and Personal Care innovation strategies across the following areas: 1) tech including day to day management of our AI|AR partnership and any new partnerships that may arise , 2)merchandising, 3)formats and 4)layouts

Partner with the field (store teams) and Beauty service teams to create and execute strategies that ensure execution of merchandising programs across our key Beauty formats including but not limited to Beauty In Real Life, Skin Care Centers

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of total business experience
  • 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams and initiatives with a high degree of complexity
  • 5+ years developing strategies to mobilize the business to achieve goals and outcomes using innovative solutions
  • 5+ years influencing with and without authority
  • 5+ years leveraging data to support strategic plans and return on investment
  • 5+ years experience working with a team to prioritize work based on skills, needs, timelines, etc.
  • 5+ years experience building high-performing teams
  • 5+ years experience engaging and inspiring a team to reach optimal business outcomes together
  • Highly responsible and accountable for building strong business value

  • Proven ability to work with multiple reports to synthesize insights and outline meaningful, actionable steps for the field to implement to represent Workforce Management and its leadership teams by delivering high quality, timely reports. Must be able to analyze data and metrics to work with impacted areas to develop, communicate and monitor mitigation plans.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:


$79,200.00 - $174,200.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company s equity award program.
