The ideal candidate will have at least five years of purchasing and inventory management experience in B2B wholesale distribution. We re looking for a servant leader who can oversee purchasing, inventory performance, and supplier relationships while driving efficiency and effectiveness throughout the supply chain processes. Background
- Minimum of a Bachelor s degree (Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Distribution, Industrial Engineering or related field preferred)
- Minimum of 5+ years of purchasing and inventory management experience in B2B wholesale distribution or similar industry.
- Driven leader with excellent communication skills. High proficiency with data management and data analytics, working with complex spreadsheets and business intelligence reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Experience with ERP replenishment systems
- CPIM, CCP, or ISM certification desired. Six Sigma (green belt) or Lean certification a plus.
- Previous experience negotiating and managing supplier contracts, including performance and volume rebates, service commitments, returns, and commodity planning.
