Work Experience 4-5 years Roeder industries is a textile screen print supply company focusing on customer success.
Along with Supplies, Roeder Industries has 3 other divisions; Equipment - New and Used, Service and Repair; and Training/Aid.
Roeder Industries is currently hiring for a Warehouse Associate position to start immediately for Shipping and General Warehouse.
The main objectives of this position are:
* Manages the shipment of all products, materials, and supplies.
* Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment of products.
* Tracks, traces, and updates the status of outgoing shipments.
* Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
* Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
* Engages with customers, vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
* Obtain and process product orders
* Maintain the company stockroom through organizing, cleaning and cataloging items on a regular basis
* Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage the shipments
* Keep files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for managers
* Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling
* Ensure adherence to environmental management and systems
* Trouble shoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them
* Ensure all shipments receive the proper labeling and postal charges and are packaged to arrive safely
* Keep management and supervisors aware of product shortages in order to maintain accurate information in the company erp system
* Organize stock and merchandise in the warehouse by properly boxing and storing goods in their designated location
* Practice customer service when interacting with other companies and clients and see to it all external parties receive a positive interaction with the company
* Verify all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the invoice to order and ensuring all goods are in acceptable condition
* Accurately package, label and weigh items to be shipped and ensure proper shipment method and shipping charges
* Prepare detailed and accurate invoices to accompany shipments and ensure all items are packaged and shipped to company standards
* Work with other team members to see that all invoices are handled promptly, and goods are shipped and stored properly
* Place merchandise in a warehouse by packaging, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods
Assistance with additional duties may include:
* Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
* Organize stock and maintain inventory
* Mixing Department pour downs and customs
* Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
* Other duties and responsibilities as needed
**Requirements**
* Proven warehouse experience
* Ability to lift and move heavy products exceeding 65 pounds continuously
* Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
* Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system and/or the ability and motivation to learn
* General working knowledge of basic web-based software applications (e.g. Microsoft office, google g-suite, zoho suite, ect.)
* Team player with organizational skills
* Ability to multi-task
* Good at math
* Detail-oriented
* Ability to maintain accurate records
* Experience operating heavy machinery
* Basic math and organization skills
* Ability to bend and lift 65 pounds or more
* Detail-oriented mindset
* Data entry and computer skills
* Ability to work on feet for long hours
* Excellent communication skills
* Understanding of safety protocols and requirements
* Experience shipping, receiving or selling related products
* Good communication and organizational skills
**Preferable:**
* Interest in or previous experience with textile screen printing
* The ability and motivation to learn
* Clean driving record
* ?Ability to drive large trucks and haul trailers
