Position Summary
Our space operations take thousands of Airmen to carry out. As a Space Operations Specialist, you ll do everything from detecting sea-launched ballistic missiles and tracking satellites to assisting in rocket launches and space flight operations. While staying cool under pressure, you ll use a broad, yet highly specialized skill set to perform the multiple tasks vital to Air Force missions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Formulate, coordinate and operate space and missile operations policies.
- Perform satellite operations, including launch and early-orbit activities.
- Assess and catalog foreign and domestic space objects.
- Perform battle management, command and control communications activities.
- Conduct nuclear and emergency war order training for combat crew members.

Qualifications
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics is desirable.
- Must participate in initial color vision testing with CCT
- Eligibility for Top Secret security clearance
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 42
