MV-Production Inventory Control **Job Description**
Responsible for:
Ensuring all inventory is maintained with agreed upon guidelines and is real time verifiable within MAS 200 system.
Reconciling any inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
Creating accurate daily production requirement reports.
Preparing and sending Talking Rain daily and monthly counts.
Preparing special shipments for Talking Rain and other departments as needed.
Coordinating with Talking Rain to ensure proper inventory of ingredients to meet production schedule.
Verifying and receiving raw materials into Sage and NAV.
Ensuring accuracy and efficiency of all dock activity.
maintaining inventory in offsite warehouses (Cedar St, Trooper & 700).
Maintaining communication with the production department, ensuring the proper receiving and stocking of finished goods from manufacturing.
All warehouse inventory and associated policies, procedures and programs.
Performing daily/monthly inventory counts and reconciling variances.
Preparing daily Excel spreadsheets.
Preparing monthly scrap reports.
Coordinating raw material orders with purchasing department for needed items.
Monitoring distributor bill backs.
Preparing appropriate forms for production records and inventory control.
Data entry for all production, transfers, issues, and inventory adjustments.
Working closely with the production manager, purchasing manager, and demand planner.
Daily and month end inventory.
Continuously improving warehouse operations through the use of lean manufacturing practices.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management
**Basic Qualifications**
Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and business management software (MAS 200, Microsoft NAV).
Strong internal and external customer focus with great follow-up.
Excellent oral, written, organizational, and communication skills.
Must be detailed oriented and energetic.
Must be a self starter and ability to multi-task.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds minimum.
Copious walking and standing required.
Must have reliable transportation and ability to work at multiple sites.
Must have a valid Drivers License with an acceptable and insurable driving record.
Must be available to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends.
Forklift certified a plus.
