**Job Summary**
Pack or package by hand a wide variety of products and materials. Supervise and train staff in all duties.
**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**
* Load materials and products into package processing equipment such as shrink wrap machines.(10%)
* Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.(10%)
* Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.(10%)
* Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.(10%)
* Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.(10%)
* Mark and label containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools.(5%)
* Place products or materials into containers, on pallets, or crates, using hand tools and equipment. (5%)
* Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as forklifts and move to designated storage locations. (10%)
* Transport packages to customers' vehicles or storage locations. (10%)
* Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers, using hand tools. (5%)
* Build pallets or crates as specified. (5%)
**Education and Experience Profile**
High school diploma or GED certificate.
