Position Overview:

We are seeking an E-commerce Assistant Manager who will take ownership of our online store and drive strategic initiatives to increase sales, enhance user experience, and optimize digital marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of success in e-commerce management, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the beauty industry. This role will report directly to the Senior Director of E-commerce.

Responsibilities

Strategy Development:

- Develop and implement e-commerce strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets, aligned with company objectives.

- Identify emerging trends and opportunities in the e-commerce landscape to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate e-commerce initiatives with overall marketing and sales strategies.

Website Management and Optimization:

- Oversee the maintenance and optimization of the company website, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience.

- Manage monthly and seasonal updates of the website.

- Implement best practices for SEO, site speed optimization, and mobile responsiveness to drive organic traffic and improve conversion rates.

- Develop merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and drive sales, including product assortment planning, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.

- Work closely with Customer Service to address customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to online orders.

- Assist with Amazon's daily management and optimization.

- Oversee inventory forecasting, planning, and replenishment processes to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize out-of-stock situations.

Digital Marketing and Customer Acquisition:

- Lead digital marketing initiatives to acquire new customers and drive repeat purchases, including email and affiliate marketing.

- Monitor the performance of digital marketing channels and campaigns, optimizing tactics to improve ROI and conversion rates.

- Develop personalized customer experiences through segmentation, targeting, and personalization strategies.

Analytics and Reporting:

- Utilize web analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rate, average order value, and customer lifetime value.

- Generate regular reports and insights to assess the effectiveness of e-commerce initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.

- Monitor the competitive landscape and industry trends to inform strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for growth.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably within the beauty or consumer goods industry.

- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving business objectives through e-commerce channels.

- Strong team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

- Deep understanding of e-commerce platforms (Shopify is a must and Klaviyo), digital marketing tactics, and web analytics tools.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Salary Range

$70,000-$80,000 depending on experience plus annual bonus eligibility
