Gridiron IT is seeking an Oracle ERP Architect to support a program in Arlington, VA.


The Oracle ERP Architect is needed to support the ongoing implementation of Oracle Cloud Applications, which include ERP (Finance, Supply Chain, Projects) and HCM, within the OCI for Government Cloud environment.

The Oracle ERP Architect is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the enterprise-wide Oracle Cloud ERP and related systems to support business objectives. They will serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert with our implementation partner, managed service provider, and stakeholders by providing strategic guidance and hands-on expertise to ensure the Oracle ERP environment is scalable, secure, and aligned with the company's evolving needs.


DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Function as the primary Oracle technical liaison between internal and external stakeholders on all matters related to the Oracle Cloud Application environment and related systems, including all RICEW (Reports, Integrations, Data Conversions, Enhancements and Workflows) components

Advise leadership on the Oracle Cloud application solution by understanding business objectives and translating them into the solution architecture

Develop and maintain design and architectural documents that outline the Oracle ERP technical infrastructure, including configuration of modules, integrations, data flows, security controls, and related business processes

Develop and maintain the Oracle Cloud Application roadmap, identifying opportunities for enhancements, upgrades, and process improvements

Establish an Architecture Review Board (ARB) to align the Oracle ERP solution with organizational needs

Continuously monitor the performance, availability, and scalability of the Oracle ERP system, and implement optimization strategies as needed, which may include new tools and technology

Support Information Operations Services Team in the resolution of Oracle Cloud Application technical issues and the escalation to Oracle Support as necessary

Evaluate technology and market trends to assess prospective impact to our applications

Advise on compliance with industry regulations and standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA) and implement robust security measures to safeguard sensitive data

Collaborate with organizational change management team to ensure smooth transitions during system updates, enhancements, and migrations

Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and optimize the Oracle ERP environment


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

6+ years in a Solution Architect (or equivalent) role on an Oracle Cloud ERP Program, preferably supporting an entity in the defense industry

Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Strong communication skills with ability to seamlessly synthesize technical situations to senior leaders

Deep technical know-how with ability to dive deep into technical situations, advise on best path forward, and leverage expertise to benefit the team and enhance the team s technical capability

Ability to impart Oracle expertise and leverage experience implementing Oracle applications to aid the project team in achieving stated objectives

Ability to manage vendors, work collaboratively to achieve common goals, and operate with the business s best interest at the forefront

Ability to grasp the current state of the project, identify short-term and long-term improvement opportunities, and apply best practices

Proven expertise in Oracle ERP modules, such as Financials, Supply Chain, and Human Capital Management, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including compute, storage, and networking


PREFERRED

Experience implementing Oracle Fusion in the Government Cloud

Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect Associate, or Project Management Professional (PMP) or related certifications preferred

Experience with waterfall and agile project management methodologies

Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP customization, integration, and reporting tools

Experience developing technical presentations which include architectural diagrams and graphics

Expertise integrating external applications with Oracle Fusion; specifically, experience integrating ADP, JPMC, RFGen, Concur and/or similar platforms with Oracle to deliver a complete, comprehensive solution to stakeholders
