JOOLA is for looking for an experienced Branding and Social Media Manager with a passion for growth and interest in pickleball and table tennis!


JOOLA was first established in 1952 and built a global reputation as a pioneer in table tennis. In 2022, JOOLA expanded into the rapidly growing pickleball scene and quickly attracted the biggest names in the sport. As an official table tennis sponsor for three Summer Olympic Games and the official sponsor of pickleball's top athletes and the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA), the team at JOOLA combines its storied expertise with fresh perspectives to bring innovation to both sports. JOOLA creates a variety of equipment, apparel, and accessories for both table tennis and pickleball players, professional and recreational. With offices in US, Germany, Brazil, and China, JOOLA has a global presence and wide distributor network.


We are seeking a talented and creative Branding and Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about crafting compelling brand narratives, creating engaging content, and cultivating a strong online presence across social media channels. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creative flair, and analytical skills to drive brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty.


Responsibilities:


  • Drive marketing vision and implement a cohesive branding strategy for JOOLA that aligns with the company's overall objectives and resonates with the target audience.
  • Manage the content, social media, and PR team, and ensure they are meeting key metrics and aligned marketing efforts.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics and use insights to optimize content and strategy for maximum impact and reach.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, social media best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the company's branding and social media efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including digital, creative, sales and product development, to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all channels.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with players, brand ambassadors, and other relevant stakeholders to amplify the JOOLA s reach and visibility in the community.
  • Develop and manage partnerships with external agencies, vendors, and platforms to support branding and social media initiatives as needed.
  • Monitor trends related to the brand, industry, and competitors, and proactively engage with the audience to build rapport and address concerns.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate the effectiveness of branding and social media efforts to key stakeholders.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in branding, social media management, or digital marketing roles.
  • Strong understanding of branding principles, social media platforms, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms, and content creation tools.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in marketing consumer products is highly preferred.
  • Must live or willing to relocate in the Washington DC/MD area.
