About the Role:

As the Social Media and Event Intern, you will spearhead the development and launch of a new cyber resilience community, collaborating with a cross-functional team to devise strategies for driving engagement, attracting new members, and fostering a vibrant online presence. Leveraging your expertise in social media (preferably LinkedIn), you will ideate creative campaigns, craft compelling content, and implement engagement techniques to promote the community across various digital channels. Additionally, you will own and manage event logistics for upcoming conferences and internal events, ensuring seamless execution and maximizing attendee engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the marketing team to develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for launching and promoting the new cyber resilience community, including defining goals, target audience, and engagement tactics.
  • Leverage social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram), particularly LinkedIn, to build and nurture the community's online presence, creating and curating relevant content, fostering discussions, and driving engagement.
  • Ideate and implement creative campaigns, contests, and initiatives to attract new members and keep existing members actively involved in the community.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to gather insights, plan events, and curate valuable content for the community.
  • Manage and coordinate logistics for industry conferences, webinars, and internal events to drive sales opportunities.
  • Analyze community metrics, engagement rates, and member feedback to continuously refine and optimize the community strategy, content, and initiatives.

    Requirements:
  • Recent graduate or currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field (communications, marketing, cybersecurity).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in leveraging social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, for

    community building, content creation, and engagement strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling

    content and effectively engage with diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated project management and event coordination skills, with experience in

    planning and executing successful conferences, webinars, or virtual events.


  • Passion for cybersecurity and/or eagerness to learn about the industry.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced

    environment.
  • Creative thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
