Job Description


Crown is seeking Training Specialists who will be responsible for the development, delivery, and conduct of training. In collaboration with the program s technical staff and other subject matter experts, the Training Specialists develop the training course materials including but not limited to: learning/configuration guides and hand-outs; PowerPoint presentations; workbooks; Webinar outlines; scripts and materials; and certification exams and their accompanying aids.


Experience in training development, web-based course development, and/or instructor led training delivery is required.


Training Specialist Responsibilities


  • Preparing the Training Development Plan
  • Performing task and skills analyses of the different functional groups of personnel to be trained
  • Developing training plans and schedules based on availability of classrooms, equipment, course participants, and instructors
  • Assessing the applicability of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) training materials
  • Overseeing the development of training software
  • Ensuring that all training deliverables meet contractual requirements
  • Monitoring, evaluating and documenting training activities and training program effectiveness
  • Supervising training instructors and evaluating instructor performance


Technical Writing Responsibilities


  • Perform research and write professional documents, including program reports and procedures, documentation, and training materials
  • Perform analyses and compile diverse policy, technical, statistical, demographic, and financial information.
  • Read and analyze technical materials and create presentations of that information including drawings, user manuals, presentations, reports, or training documents
  • Interact with the program s management and technical staff and be capable of distilling and conveying complex technical information in contractual deliverables


Qualifications


  • Experience in training development, web-based course development, and/or instructor led training delivery is required
  • Level 3 Specialist: Associate s degree and 10-14 years of related experience or Bachelor's degree and 1-4 years of related experience;
  • Level 4 Specialist: Associate s degree and 15-19 years of related experience or Bachelor's degree and 5-9 years of related experience;
  • Level 5 Specialist: Associate s degree and 20 years of related experience or Bachelor's degree and 10-14 years of related experience;
  • Articulate Story experience is preferred
  • Technical writing experience is preferred
