Physical Security Specialist
This is a HYBRID REMOTE position.

The Physical Security Specialist provides physical security subject matter expertise to the MAA and MA Program Office.

In this role you will .

  • Participate in the pre-assessment coordination, MAA onsite, report development and Mission Assurance protection program related request for information.
  • Must have familiarity with Mission Assurance/Physical security applicable policy, standards, and benchmarks.
  • Maintain applicable security clearance requirement. Provide technical support to the physical security program.
  • Provide recommendations and facilitate development of physical security law enforcementprogram.
  • Provide technical writing and review of MA/Critical Infrastructure Protection reports andinformation papers in a timely manner in order to support report publication timelines.
  • Document and collect all restricted area lists, surveys, and mitigation reports.
  • Provide PS program technical support in the areas of On-site Assessment, Analysis andCharacterization, Exercise and Contingency Support.
  • Provide technical support to develop PS assessment training criteria.
  • Provide policy, planning, and program assessment support to assist in the implementation ofPhysical Security/Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems related capabilities across the MarineCorps.
  • Provide inputs into the review and development of Physical Security/Counter Unmanned Aircraft
  • Systems draft policies, program, and planning documents originated by the Office of Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, and Other Services, and federal agencies
Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum ten (10)years of DoN experience in law enforcement and security operations in operational and mission planning, active duty, civilian or contractor
  • Five (5) years or more executing higher headquarters MA program reviews and installation level MA assessments.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor s Degree from an accredited college or university.
Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Active SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS SCI level clearance
Other Requirements:
  • Required travel minimum 50% of the time
  • May be required to move equipment/files weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Reports to a physical location which occasionally requires the ability to traverse between buildings
  • Ability to manage stress with a high degree of maturity/professionalism
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and leadership skills and the ability to work well with others
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
This position is contingent on funding.
