Role Description
Tulsa Cardiovascular Center of Excellence is seeking a full-time Cardiology Physician Assistant to work on-site at our South Tulsa location in Oklahoma. The Cardiology Physician Assistant will be responsible for assisting in patient assessments, administering treatments, monitoring patients, managing patient care, and educating patients and their families. The position will work collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and support staff.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant
- Licensed by the State of Oklahoma as a Physician Assistant and in good standing with the state medical board
- At least 1 years of experience in cardiology, cardiovascular disease, or a related field is preferred
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiology and cardiovascular health
- Proficiency in conducting physical exams and interpreting diagnostic tests, including EKGs and echocardiograms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals with empathy and respect
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to provide quality healthcare to patients
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to staying current on developments in cardiology and cardiovascular health, and continuous learning and personal development
