LHH is currently partnering with an organization in the Washington, DC area looking to bring on a Procurement Analyst supporting Recruiting and Vendor Partnerships. This is an ongoing temporary role for the next 6+ months. The position will offer a hybrid schedule and the pay will range between $23-$28 per hour based on experience. As a Procurement Analyst specializing in Recruitment, Human Resources, and Vendor Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the procurement process aligns with the organization's strategic goals and objectives. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for talent acquisition, HR services, and vendor partnerships. This includes sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and building strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external vendors.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR to understand staffing needs and develop procurement strategies for talent acquisition.
  • Source and evaluate recruitment agencies, job boards, and other talent acquisition vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements with recruitment partners to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Monitor recruitment vendor performance and manage relationships to ensure quality of service.
  • Identify HR service requirements across the organization and develop procurement plans to fulfill those needs.
  • Source and evaluate HR service providers, such as payroll, benefits administration, training, and employee assistance programs.
  • Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) with HR service vendors to meet organizational requirements.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Identify potential vendors and partners for various goods and services required by the organization.
  • Evaluate vendor capabilities, financial stability, and reputation to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with vendors to achieve cost savings and favorable terms
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to foster collaboration and drive innovation.
  • Analyze procurement data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Generate regular reports on procurement metrics, including spend analysis, cost savings, and vendor performance.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on data analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments of vendors and procurement activities to mitigate potential risks.
  • Monitor vendor compliance with contractual terms, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, with a focus on recruitment, HR services, and vendor management.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to develop and maintain positive vendor relationships.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with experience using procurement software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
