Jones Networking is recruiting for a Senior Project Manager / Site Superintendent to join an award-winning Residential Remodeling & Design Firm based in McLean, VA. This opportunity plays a key role in client communication and client satisfaction during the production phase of each residential remodeling project. Projects are located in Northern VA, Montgomery County, MD and Washington, DC. Our client offers a competitive salary along with project based bonus opportunities.


Senior Project Manager Summary

-Manage the daily construction activities of a job site.

-Schedule and oversee building department inspections.

-Supervise all employees and subcontractors at the job site.

-Estimate material list quantities and provide lists to the Production Manager for pricing. Oversee efficient use of the material and return of unused materials.

-Communicate with the client on a daily basis. Relay any important information

from the client to the Production Manager.

-Keep informed on the project as a whole to include; plans, change orders and specifications.

-Maintain a two-week future schedule of job site events including; material delivery dates, daily work, manpower needed, and summary of subcontractor work scheduled and completed.

-Supervise job site safety, cleanliness, security, and protection from damage during construction.

-Maintain a job site file containing all job site related information including work orders, project specifications, change orders, subcontractor contracts or information, purchase orders, technical specs, architectural details, etc.

-Attend quarterly training meetings in the office with all Project Managers and Production Managers.

-Direct and manage carpenters on site and complete carpentry work as needed.


Sr. Project Manager Qualifications Summary

-Minimum five years experience as a Project Manager with residential remodeling related work.

-Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus.

-Hands-on Carpentry skills.

-Ability to lead by example with strong communication skills.

-Extremely organized with exceptional attention to detail.

-Reliable transportation is required.
