Your New Role
Bleacher Report is seeking a sports-obsessed Production Assistant to be a hands-on member of the live production team. This entry-level position would assist with the production of hundreds of live shows a month, encompassing everything from creator-led streams and current athlete video podcasts to on-site shows at tentpole events. Responsibilities will also include pre-production work, such as ideation and research as well as post-production content reviews and quality control. This is the perfect role for a hardworking, team player interested in starting their career in digital storytelling / sports production.
Your Role Accountabilities
Provide support for all BR live productions
Ideate around topical storylines in sports to help determine content of live streams
Use photoshop to create thumbnails & other light-design work for live streams
Edit video (Adobe Premiere) for highlight packages
Identify & spotlight notable comments/questions during live streams for host to react to
Curate the best of social media to be integrated into Livestreams
Qualifications & Experiences
Strong contextual sports knowledge
Fundamental Production skills
Great attention to detail and creative mindset
Strong communication skillscalls, email, Slack
Ability to work in high pressure, fast-paced production environment with quick turnarounds
