Position at Empire Packing Production Hourly 1st Shift - $18.00 hourly. General Labor II role is proficient in General Labor I job titles. Must demonstrate the ability to consistently operate in a role that is: more labor-intensive; at a faster pace; and work with products with a greater yield. Some tool and machines are computerized, requiring technical knowledge to use. Ability to communicate sometimes in both English and Spanish can help general laborers advance in their profession. The jobs purpose is to lift, load, cut and package products. General labor must have physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance. Laborers must be able to concentrate on their tasks without distractions. Operate heavy machinery. Provide labor support to other areas.
