Seeking experienced candidate preferably with Prince George's County development experience for growing survey and engineering firm. Candidate needs to be able to work well in a collaborative and team environment. Must be able to work independently to deliver projects and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Experience with land development
- Hydraulic gradient evaluation
- Earthwork analysis
- Stormwater calculations (including environmental site design techniques)
- Construction cost estimates
- Preparation of technical reports
- Effective communication skills
- Review agencies, clients, architects, attorneys, contractors, and other engineers.
- Experience with plan processing and permitting in local jurisdictions is a positive. Candidate must be capable of using.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years experience related to land development drafting, design and processing. Pay based on candidates experience. Seeking all experience levels from enty, mid, and senior candidates for our growing firm.
- Proficient in Civil 3D and have experience in the design and preparation of the following plans: water, sewer, road, storm drain, traffic control, grading, erosion and sediment control, stormwater management, and flood studies.
- Proficient in working with AutoCAD, Civil3D, construction documents, and technical knowledge.
- Microsoft Office products, Adobe Acrobat, HEC-RAS, Flow Master, Tr-55, Tr-20, HY-8, and other software associated with civil engineering and standard office work.
