**Job Responsibilities**

Located in Fremont, CA

The Receiving Clerk will work as part of the operations team to maintain high performance for all departmental standards including safety, timeliness, quality/accuracy, security and productivity. Responsibilities will include receiving shipments, checking delivery content against the specifications on the purchase order and packing slip, addressing and resolving any problems with shipments, stocks or transfer deliveries accordingly. The receiving clerk must aim to achieve high customer service standards consistently. In addition, this person will also be expected to work proactively on multiple tasks with autonomy. Overtime work may be needed periodically.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Drive a culture of "Do It Safe, Do It Right the First Time" with their actions and their words on a daily basis.

* Act as the consolidator for all receiving activities in the ERP system for your site

* Process invoice matching activities in the Concur system in a timely manner after being notified that the invoices have posted to your account

* Investigate invoices that do not match the original PO value by engaging with the site and originating requisitioner

* Participate in monthly safety meetings and promote a safe work environment.

* Follow all work processes and work instructions relevant to specific assignments.

* Perform receiving related ERP transactions

* Perform receiving related Emaint transactions (as needed)

* Ensure accuracy of all transactions within ERP to ensure accurate data for operational efficiency

* Maintain all receiving paperwork according to the Air Liquide Policy.

* Partner with the site Logistics team, who will both support and back-up this position when out-of-office

* Maintain Inventory Control records

* Escalates any potential Safety or Quality concerns

* Comply with all company safety policies and OSHA and MSDS Standards

* Successfully complete all assigned trainings

**Required Qualifications**

* High School Diploma or GED

* 3+ years of relevant industry experience in logistics operations (shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory management)

* Must be certified to drive a forklift

* Strong customer service orientation

* Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

* Ability to follow all work instructions and safety protocols

* Ability to understand the properties and hazards associated with chemicals and compressed gases

* Must be a quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain focus and adapt to a variety of challenges

* Must be organized with attention to detail and ability to follow directions to meet deadlines

* Must have good written and verbal communication skills and be very capable of regular interaction with all support departments

* Computer literate with experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel

* Perform all required trainings as they are assigned

Work Conditions:

* Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area

* Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse

* Ensure that no alarms or interlocks are bypassed

* Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.

* Comply with all company safety policies and OSHA and MSDS Standards

Physical Qualifications:

* Must be able to move around a large warehouse for 8 or more hours in a fast-paced environment

* Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis

* Ability to climb ladders

* Significant manual dexterity for keying in data for long periods of time
