Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented **Warehouse Operations Specialist** to join our team in the Chantilly, VA area to provide unparalleled support to our customers and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.

**Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:**

* As a Warehouse Operations Specialist; you will responsible for providing comprehensive operations support to the customer ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse operations.

* Support updates and maintenance of a Warehouse Operations Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).

* Using existing Logistics Management Tools, with a preference for SAP commercial software to track warehouse inventory and operations

* Shipping and receiving equipment in support of customer operations complying with existing procedures, instructions and directives.

* Shipping and handling of classified materials ensuring compliance with established customer procedures.

* Be able to use efficient and cost effective methods for material management. Use existing Logistics SOPs, generate new, or modify existing ones, as required to ensure consistent material management performance.

* Individual should be skilled and have appropriate certifications in using Material Handling Equipment (MHE) resident in MID facilities.

* Individual should be able to conduct safe and efficient operations of forklifts, dollies and carts.

* Review and comply with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) which detail the specifics of proper asset management and inventory control.

* Compliance with all published warehouse safety and OSHA requirements as they relate to warehouse operations and personal safety.

**Qualifications:**

* Certified Forklift Operator (can obtain after starting)

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.

* High school diploma/GED required

* A valid, U.S Drivers License Is Required

**Desired Qualifications**

* DOD warehouse background or equivalent desired

**Clearance:**

* Active current TS/SCI with Polygraph

**Physical Requirements:**

* The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside a large facility

* Frequently moves equipment weighing up to 50 pounds across and/or around a large facility.

* Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder

* Responsible for handling local deliveries of equipment.

* Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
